3 years being on WordPress

Hello everyone

Hope you all are doing well. It’s been a long time since I last updated … sorry I was kinda busy but since summer vacations are here and the old me is back hehe

Wow its been 3 years since i started this blog and nothing changed.oh A part from i finally graduate from high school ūüėČ

I was thinking to change my blog niche or maybe start a new blog about how to blog and tips for beginners … I would love your feedback and opinion about that.

Ps it’s been awhile since I wasn’t Blogging so alot of things might have changed can anyone recommend me a blogging course for intermediate or advance level bloggers.that would be great help

Nutella Truffles

  • 2 2/3¬†cups¬†quick-cooking oats
  • 1 1/2¬†cups¬†chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella)
  • 1/4¬†teaspoon¬†fine salt
  • 1/3¬†cup¬†natural cocoa powder

Directions

  1. Grind 2 cups of the oats in a food processor into a fine powder. Add the Nutella and salt and process until a smooth mixture forms. Add the remaining ‚ÖĒ cup of oats and pulse to combine.
  2. Roll level tablespoons of the dough into balls. Roll in the cocoa to coat. Repeat to coat evenly. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 5 days.
  3. Storage suggestion: Keep the cookies refrigerated for about 5 days.

Tip : For variety, mix in ¬Ĺ teaspoon ground cinnamon.

Eggnog (Canada, United States)

Eggnog-RecipeIngredients

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/3 cup sugar, plus 1 tablespoon
  • 1 pint whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 ounces bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 4 egg whites*

Directions

In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the egg yolks until they lighten in color. Gradually add the 1/3 cup sugar and continue to beat until it is completely dissolved. Add the milk, cream, bourbon and nutmeg and stir to combine.

Place the egg whites in the bowl of a stand mixer and beat to soft peaks. With the mixer still running gradually add the 1 tablespoon of sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.

Whisk the egg whites into the mixture. Chill and serve.

Cook’s Note: For cooked eggnog, follow procedure below.

In a medium saucepan, over high heat, combine the milk, heavy cream and nutmeg and bring just to a boil, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and gradually temper the hot mixture into the egg and sugar mixture. Then return everything to the pot and cook until the mixture reaches 160 degrees F. Remove from the heat, stir in the bourbon, pour into a medium mixing bowl, and set in the refrigerator to chill.

In a medium mixing bowl, beat the egg whites to soft peaks. With the mixer running gradually add the 1 tablespoon of sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Whisk the egg whites into the chilled mixture.

* suggestion  : use only fresh eggs  and avoid contact between the yolks or whites and the shell.

Yield:6 to 7 cups  , Total Time: 15 min

Cola de Mono (Chile)

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks or 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup instant coffee
  • 2 cups aguardiente
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  • Bring the milk, sugar and cinnamon to a boil.
  • Dissolve the coffee in the hot milk mixture.
  • Put in the fridge to cool.
  • Once cold, add the aguardiente.
  • Pour into capped bottles and return to the fridge.
  • Serve very cold.

This keeps in the fridge for 2 weeks

Wassail (United Kingdom)

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts¬†¬†apple cider
  • 2 cups¬†orange juice
  • 1/2 cup¬†lemon juice
  • 12¬†whole cloves
  • 4¬†cinnamon sticks
  • 1 pinch¬†ground ginger
  • 1 pinch¬†ground nutmeg

Directions

In a slow-cooker or a large pot over low heat, combine apple cider, orange juice and lemon juice. Season with cloves, ginger and nutmeg. Bring to a simmer. If using a slow cooker, allow to simmer all day. Serve hot.
